HOLIDAY SPECIAL: Freezeezy Peak from Banjo-Kazooie, by Rare.
There’s plenty of snow levels on the Nintendo 64, but relatively few that actually jingle all the way with full-on Christmas decor. The big Freezeezy certainly has plenty of it, though, from its festive Yule-tree to the gigantic presents-as-platforms. It even has a walrus, which is likely an animal that can make a great new addition to anyone’s Christmas traditions.
Okay I tend to get overexcited
omg, this is so awesome!! Banjo-Kazooieeeeeee <3
this picture is a lot funnier if you imagine this seal’s mouth is the black line between its whiskers instead of the one under them

BANJO KAZOOIE ☆
From Banjo Kazooie for the N64, by Rare.
Rare certainly did their due diligence to slide in Game Boy cameos wherever they could, although it would seem that Banjo’s bear hands must have been slightly too large for the then-contemporary Game Boy Pocket. He could have at least got a coordinating yellow Play It Loud series one, though.

you have no legitimate reason not to have an over excited axolotl on your blog
"There was a time when I thought a great deal about the axolotls. I went to see them in the aquariumat the Jardin des Plantes and stayed for hours watching them, observing their immobility, their faint movements. Now I am an axolotl."—Julio Cortazar
The axolotl may be gone forever from its natural habitat in Mexico, biologists have announced.
